I am becoming increasingly concerned about the issues that many of you are having on Portsmouth Road. I have had a number of constituents write to me about the dangers of using that road, with people driving on the pavements because the traffic congestion is so dire!
I have previously pushed Hampshire County Council on this and yet they have still to realise that there is an issue.
I have put together a survey so I can get a better understanding of what changes you would like to see along the road, which I will then present to HCC and make yet another case for the necessary upgrades required along Portsmouth Road, and if necessary take the results to Ministers and Parliament.
