I want to thank Faith, Matthew and Ali for coming up to Parliament for Brain Cancer Justice’s drop-in.
It was moving to learn more about their own experience and inspiring to see the part they have played in this campaign which has received great momentum following the appeal by Commonwealth Swimmer Archie Goodburn.
This vital thing now is to turn this activism into meaningful change and I will be working with colleagues and supporters to help push for greater screening and earlier diagnosis to turn a terminal illness into a treatable one.
Thank you again to Faith Matthew and Ali. As I have said many times before, I would not be able to do my job without constituents like them and you who support, challenge and help me to serve you.
