Paul campaigns to keep GP services in Bursledon

The local NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has been consulting on plans for a potential merger of Bursledon Surgery with Blackthorn Surgery in Hamble.

While I believe that Blackthorn Surgery does offer excellent care for patients and the community they serve, I believe it is important to retain GP provision at the site of Bursledon surgery. The plans currently being put forward would see a range of wider community health services operated from Bursledon but all GP provision being delivered from Blackthorn.
