I was privileged to recently meet Clare, who runs an Explorer Scout unit in Itchen, along with Explorers Emily, Tom, Daniel and William, all from the Hamble Valley Constituency.
Clare, has been selected to attend the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027 — along with Emily, Tom, Daniel and William, who were also selected after completing a challenging selection weekend alongside more than 250 other young people.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but the cost is significant, and they are fundraising to make it possible. I’d love to help Clare, Emily, Tom, Daniel and William get to this incredible event. Any support, however big or small, would make a real difference.
