Last week I highlighted the amazing work of the Hamble Lifeboat to the Prime Minister and also took the opportunity to highlight the increased cost pressures being put on independent lifeboat stations at the moment. The pandemic has limited the ability of charities to fundraise while also increasing the operating costs.
It was a pleasure to meet with the team at Hamble Lifeboat today and to update them on my efforts to help independent lifeboats, like Hamble Lifeboat, secure the additional funding Government has made available to charities.
