Summer Update 2 - Visit to Proteum

Proteum

Continuing my summer tour of businesses in our maritime sector, I also had the privilege to visit Proteum who are based at Hamble Point Marina and provide marine diesel engines and support services for customers all over the world. 

From engineering staff, apprentices and staff to service their global customers base, Proteum are a prime example of the maritime expertise that we have based in the Solent. There were several points that Nick Ames, the Chief Executive, wanted to raise with me and I am already investigating these issues with Ministers and hope that we can find a solution.
