It was a delight to visit Sainsbury's Hedge End and be shown around the store by Gary Wardle, the branch manager. It was also a great opportunity to speak with staff who absolutely lived up to the title "key workers" during the pandemic.
Online shopping was of course essential for many elderly and vulnerable people during the pandemic and Sainsbury's staff worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone could access what they needed. This demand for online shopping has continued and Gary and the team are continuing to add more capacity. Well done all round!
